Career & leadership coaching · English + Polski

For professionals between versions of themselves.

I'm Marzena Ermler. I coach career changers, international professionals, and emerging leaders through the decisions that reshape a working life. My job is to help you choose your next chapter instead of drifting into it.

A discovery call is free, takes 30 minutes, and carries no obligation. We simply talk.

Meet Marzena

I grew up in a small village in the Polish mountains, where every path worth taking crossed a ridge.

A traverse is how you cross a mountain that is too steep to climb straight up. You move deliberately, sideways, one considered step at a time. Careers change the same way. Very few people leap. Most of us cross over in a sequence of honest moves.

My own path crossed a few ridges: from teaching German literature, to librarianship and learning & development at the New York Public Library, to career coaching at NYU's Wasserman Center for Career Development. I coach the way I have lived, with respect for the terrain and real belief in your ability to cross it.

My practice draws on Life Design, positive psychology and VIA character strengths, neuroscience-informed coaching, mindfulness, and emotional intelligence. Sessions are available in English and Polish.

Four ways to cross your ridge

Every engagement begins with a free discovery call, so we can see whether we're a good fit before you commit to anything.

A sustained coaching partnership for the seasons when your career is in motion: a transition, a promotion, a reinvention. We meet regularly, you work between sessions, and when it helps, we bring in assessments like MBTI, Hogan, and VIA strengths.

Decision Sessions

One focused session for one real decision: the offer on the table, the move you keep circling, the role you're not sure you want. You leave with your decision sketched on paper, with the options, the trade-offs, and your own criteria for choosing.

Leadership Workshops

How the work moves

The Traverse Path

Four beats that shape every engagement, whether it's one Decision Session or a year of coaching.

Encounter

We start with the real situation, not the tidy version of it. What is actually on the table, and what standing still is costing you.

Reflect

We slow down on purpose. Your values, strengths, and patterns come into view. This is the material every good decision is made from.

Recognize

This is the moment the work is for. You put words to something you already knew, and the choice becomes yours.

Become

Decisions turn into practice: a new role, new habits, a new voice. You walk into the next version of yourself step by step.

Letters from the trail

Questions worth carrying, in your inbox

A short letter, a couple of times a month: one question worth carrying, one decision sketched, one thing coaching keeps teaching me. When you join, I'll send you Questions Worth Carrying, a two-page field guide of ten coaching questions for anyone standing between versions of themselves.

I write every letter myself, and you can unsubscribe anytime.
